Job Description
- Provides academic leadership for the Primary Education Department, ensuring program quality, curriculum relevance, faculty support, and alignment with national education standards.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight for the department.
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Ensure programs align with national standards and emerging trends.
- Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Guide development and delivery of science-related courses.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Ensure teaching materials and methods remain current and effective.
- Mentor and support faculty members.
- Coordinate with other departments and external agencies.
- Monitor student progress and implement interventions where necessary.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
- Teaching experience in primary and/or secondary education.
- Leadership experience in an academic or educational setting.
- Strong curriculum development skills.
- Knowledge of teacher training methodologies.
- Knowledge of current research and best practices.
- Ability to apply theory to practice.
- Curriculum design and academic delivery skills.
- Diverse teaching methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Adaptability to online and hybrid learning environments.
