About Organisation:

RiyoChick is an established commercial layer farm located in the heart of Uganda, dedicated to producing high-quality eggs for the local and regional market. Founded on the principles of sustainability, quality, and community development, RiyoChick aims to revolutionize the poultry farming industry in Uganda by adopting modern farming techniques and sustainable practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of one or more environmentally controlled poultry houses.
• Supervise, train, and manage farm staff.
• Monitor bird health, welfare, and production efficiency.
• Enforce strict biosecurity standards and farm protocols.
• Analyze production data and report performance metrics to management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in poultry farm operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of poultry nutrition, health, biosecurity, and production systems
• Physically fit and able to work in farm conditions.
• Basic computer skills are an added advantage.
