UAE Agro-Export Enterprise is a newly established agricultural export company based in Uganda. The company specializes in sourcing, processing, packaging, and exporting fresh Ugandan fruits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It partners directly with local farms to cultivate and harvest high-yield export fruit crops.

Position Overview

The Farm Helper will support field-level agricultural activities, including fruit harvesting, initial sorting, field washing, crate loading, and crop maintenance. The position ensures gentle fruit collection at the farm stage to preserve skin quality and shelf life.

Key Responsibilities

• Harvest ripe fruits using recommended clipping and picking tools to prevent stem or skin damage.
• Conduct field-level sorting to remove damaged or undersized produce before crate loading.
• Assist in field irrigation, pruning, weeding, and general crop health support as instructed.
• Load and unload fruit crates onto field collection transport safely.
• Clean and maintain farm harvesting equipment, field tools, and collection crates.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Basic literacy; formal education not strictly required.
• Experience: Prior work on commercial fruit farms, horticulture projects, or agricultural harvesting is preferred.
• Attributes: High physical stamina, ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, careful fruit handling skills, and strong reliability.
