UAE Agro-Export Enterprise is a newly established agricultural export company based in Uganda. The company specializes in sourcing, processing, packaging, and exporting fresh Ugandan fruits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The institution focuses on maintaining premium presentation and packaging integrity for overseas consumer markets.

Role Overview & Scope

The Fruit Packer will perform quality sorting, grading, weighing, and protective packaging of fresh export fruits. The candidate ensures that all packages adhere strictly to weight specifications, labeling guidelines, and export appearance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming fruit for blemishes, decay, size uniformity, and maturity levels.
• Carefully wrap and pack fruits into designated export cartons, crates, or protective netting.
• Weigh packed containers to ensure compliance with exact export weight allowances.
• Apply export barcodes, batch tags, destination labels, and trace code stickers accurately.
• Stack packed cartons safely on pallets for cold storage or transport loading.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent.

Experience

• Prior experience in produce packing, factory production lines, or quality inspection is an added advantage.

Skills

High manual dexterity, strong visual inspection abilities, basic math/weighing literacy, and physical endurance for standing work.
