INVITATION FOR BIDS/PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE FOR FY 2026-2027

BID NOTICE NO. 1 OF FY 2026-2027

1. Lytanode District Local Government intends to prequalify and procure services of eligible firms and organizations interested in the supply of Goods, Services and Works to the district for frame work contracts. Local revenue contracts and Annual service contracts for financial year 2026-2027.

2. Lytanode District Local Government now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed pre-qualification submissions/entries of expressions of interest / bids for works, services and supplies for financial year 2026-2027.

3. Lytanode District Local Government also invites Special Interest Groups (Youth, Women and Persons with disability (PWDs)) to submit sealed pre-qualification submissions/entries of interest / bids for works, services and supplies for financial year 2026-2027.

(i) Construction of Valley tanks.
(ii) Dilling of Boreholes.

(i) Supply of HDPE Pipes and HDPE Tanks and accessories
(ii) Supply of Fire Extinguishers, Lighting aerators and Firefighting equipment
(iii) Engraving of Furniture and other equipment
(iv) Supply of Fish Fingers
(v) Supply of Hospital beddings (Mackintosh)
(vi) Laboratory reagents, Theatre Scrubs and Gowns
(vii) Plumbing Services
(viii) Medical Supplies and Equipment

(c) Water
(i) Water reservoirs and Chemicals
(ii) Special Interest Groups (Youth, Women and PWDs)

2. FRAMEWORK CONTRACTS (ANNUAL)

i) Repair and Maintenance of Motor vehicles
ii) Repair and Maintenance of Motorcycles
iii) Repair, Maintenance and servicing of Computers, Printers, Photocopiers and Air conditioners
iv) Catering services and Food items
v) Office and printed stationery
vi) Supply and installation of cutlers
vii) Supply of gravel, stone chippings, stone base aggregates, sand, cement, and building materials/tools
viii) Oil, fuel and lubricants
ix) Tyres, tubes and batteries
x) Supply of consumables for heavy machines/grader end bits, blades, cutting edges)
xi) Repair and maintenance and servicing of Generators

xiii) Cleaning and maintenance of Lytanode District compound
xiv) Cleaning and maintenance of Lytanode Hospital wards, offices, and toilets
xv) Cleaning and maintenance of Lytanode Hospital compound
xvi) Supply of portable Lytanode Hospital (village) Supply of Borehole Spare parts
xvii) Computers, printers, photocopiers, Cameras, office equipment and ICT equipment
xviii) Hotel hiking and Conference Services
xix) Hire of tents, Chairs and Public Address
xx) Repair of Heavy Machinery

5. ANNUAL REVENUE CONTRACTS RESERVED FOR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AS PER MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT POLICY FOR REGISTERED VENDORS ASSOCIATIONS.

1. Prequalification and bidding shall be done in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act, Cap 205 and is open to all firms nationwide.

2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement and Disposal Unit offices and inspect the pre-qualification/bidding documents at the address given below from 8.00am-5.00pm Monday-Tuesday.

3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fees of: Shs. 100,000 (for 1st and 2nd year prequalification). Frame work contracts and Local revenue contracts EXCEPT ITEMS RESERVED FOR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS UNDER PREQUALIFICATION AND IN TABLE 4.

4. The mode of payment will be by Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) through the use of PSN (Payment Registration Number) issued by the District Cashier or the revenue officer in the finance department. You should obtain a non refundable fee receipt from the District Cashier’s office which will be presented to the Procurement and Disposal Unit to be issued with a prequalification/bidding document.

6. ANNUAL REVENUE CONTRACTS RESERVED FOR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AS PER MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT POLICY FOR REGISTERED VENDORS ASSOCIATIONS.

1. Bids must be delivered to the address below before 30th June 2026 at 11.00am. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11.20am in presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
