INVITATION FOR BIDS/PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE FOR FY 2026-2027

BID NOTICE NO. 1 OF FY 2026-2027

  1. Lytanode District Local Government intends to prequalify and procure services of eligible firms and organizations interested in the supply of Goods, Services and Works to the district for frame work contracts. Local revenue contracts and Annual service contracts for financial year 2026-2027.

  2. Lytanode District Local Government now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed pre-qualification submissions/entries of expressions of interest / bids for works, services and supplies for financial year 2026-2027.

  3. Lytanode District Local Government also invites Special Interest Groups (Youth, Women and Persons with disability (PWDs)) to submit sealed pre-qualification submissions/entries of interest / bids for works, services and supplies for financial year 2026-2027.

(i) Supply of HDPE Pipes and HDPE Tanks and accessories

  1. Prequalification and bidding shall be done in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act, Cap 205 and is open to all firms nationwide.

  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement and Disposal Unit offices and inspect the pre-qualification/bidding documents at the address given below from 8.00am-5.00pm Monday-Tuesday.

  3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fees of: Shs. 100,000 (for 1st and 2nd year prequalification). Frame work contracts and Local revenue contracts EXCEPT ITEMS RESERVED FOR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS UNDER PREQUALIFICATION AND IN TABLE 4.

  4. The mode of payment will be by Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) through the use of PSN (Payment Registration Number) issued by the District Cashier or the revenue officer in the finance department. You should obtain a non refundable fee receipt from the District Cashier’s office which will be presented to the Procurement and Disposal Unit to be issued with a prequalification/bidding document.
