Background

The HSSE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe workplace and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions and employee training.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Maintain HSSE records and reports.
• Promote a safety culture across all company operations.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Any other responsibilities that may be given to you.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional HSSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in HSSE management.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
