Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and impact of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust MEL frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and translating findings into actionable insights to improve program delivery and outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Head of MEL will oversee all aspects of monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities. This includes designing data collection tools, managing data quality, conducting impact assessments, and facilitating learning sessions with stakeholders. You will be instrumental in building the capacity of staff and partners in MEL practices.

Qualifications and Experience

A Master's degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required. Significant experience in designing and implementing MEL systems for development projects is essential. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in data analysis software, and excellent communication and report writing abilities are necessary. Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects is highly desirable.
