Job Summary

A leading Group Poultry Farm based in Kampala is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of the group. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and ensuring the overall financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the group.
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial policies.
• Monitor cash flow, control costs, and improve financial efficiency.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Financial modeling and capital structure
• Manage and structure group finance department
• Design financial systems

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in agribusiness or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Ugandan tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
