JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
To safely, efficiently, and effectively operate refuelling equipment and manage tank farm operations, delivering high-quality aviation fuelling services and customer support to airline clients. This role ensures compliance with Vivo Energy Aviation Assurance policies, applicable operating standards, and procedures (currently under TSA with Air BP), while maintaining high standards of HSSE and operational excellence.

Key Deliverables / Expected Outputs
- Safe and compliant operation of fueling equipment.
- On-time aircraft refueling in accordance with SLAs.
- Accurate documentation and recording of fuel movements.
- Timely reporting of equipment defects and incidents.
- Full compliance with HSSE, aviation operating, and quality standards.
- Positive customer and stakeholder relationships at airport facilities.
Principal Accountabilities
Key Challenges
- Drive and operate fueling equipment in line with aviation assurance policies and operating standards.
- Refuel aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders on the apron, receiving and processing refueling requests professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers and airport stakeholders.
- Apply the Competency Assurance System for Aviation Operations, ensuring compliance with aviation standards, ISO manuals, Quality Policy, and HSSE Management Systems.
- Conduct routine quality, operational, and HSSE checks on equipment and aviation fuels.
- Report equipment defects, near misses, and incidents in line with HSSE procedures.
- Accurately record business, operational, and HSSE data using approved templates and systems.
- Account for all product movements during assigned shifts.
- Maintaining safe driving and operational standards in a high-risk airport environment.
- Delivering exceptional customer service under strict turnaround timelines.
- Ensuring on-time aircraft refueling while maintaining full compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in technical discipline or post-tertiary qualification with experience in aviation operations.
- Valid and relevant driving license for required vehicle class.
Experience
- Experience in aviation fuelling operations or related technical field preferred.
- Practical knowledge of airport operations is an added advantage.
