Job Summary: Tambiisa (U) Limited is a Ugandan agribusiness company specializing in the sourcing, processing, and export of premium organic vanilla. Established in 2008, we proudly work with smallholder farmers to deliver high-quality, traceable vanilla to international markets

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Register and maintain records of farmers within the assigned area.
• Conduct internal inspections and ensure compliance with organic certification requirements.
• Train farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), organic standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate company activities within the designated operational area.
• Support traceability, production estimation and farmer data collection activities.
• Monitor farmer compliance and recommend corrective actions and sanctions where necessary.
• Prepare field reports and submit regular updates to management.
• Mobilize and expand the company’s organic farmer network.
• Support certification audits and implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Extension or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience working with farmer groups or agricultural projects.
• Experience in farmer training, internal inspections and field coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned district.
• Knowledge of the vanilla value chain is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of organic certification standards and Internal Control Systems (ICS) is an added advantage.
• Computer literacy and experience with digital data collection tools is desirable.
