Our client is a diverse industrial group that offers comprehensive energy operation and maintenance services and energy chemical products with core sectors including Energy Technology Services, FPSO Services, Energy Logistics, and Safety & Environmental Protection.

Our client is a company incorporated in Uganda and providing consultancy services devoted to developing the energy Industry and is seeking to employ a Coring Engineer to work on the Kingfisher Project in Kikuube District.

Job Description

• Core tools and accessories check, in and out of storage management. Coring tool maintenance.
• Preparation of coring project-related documents.
• Assist the core leader in completing the on-site core service during the project operation.
• After the coring operation, collect the information from the operation and assist the operation leader in completing the coring completion report.
• During the service period, complete other matters arranged by the Coring Leader.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in the drilling and completion field, or served as a Coring Engineer,
• technician, and other related positions.
• Experience in using large-scale engineering software, including Landmark, Drill works and other software
• widely used in the industry.
• Understand well drilling and completion-related and national laws and regulations, industry
• standards, technical specifications, systems, manuals, and regulations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, such as EXCEL, WORD, and PPT, etc.
• Proficient in English with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Possess strong analytical skills, close attention to detail, and a solid engineering mindset
• Able to collaborate effectively with project team leaders to ensure smooth project implementation
• Demonstrates high self-drive and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Demonstrates good conduct, dedication, honesty, and self-discipline, with a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.
• Supports and upholds corporate culture and company policies, ensuring their proper implementation and compliance.
