Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) is a Public Limited Company wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Uganda, and holds the following operational licenses. System Operator, Operation of the High Voltage Transmission Grid, Bulk Power Supply, Import and Export of Power and; Public Infrastructure Provider (for ownership and operation of the Optic Fibre). Our Vision is: “Electricity Transmission for sustainability for sustainability Development.”

Job Summary: The Position is located at the UETCL National control Center and the position holder shall prepare power system operational reports for production, demand and outages; and monitor and report on production performance of generators, distributors and other customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Production of system operations reports.
• Generation and Demand reconciliations.
• Deemed Energy and Availability reconciliations
• Outage statistics compilation and analysis.
• Market operator transaction reconciliations
• Wheeling loss reconciliations
• Ensure Operational Statistics are well maintained and up-to-date.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Must have a Bachelors in Electrical engineering
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in power system operations
• Computer skills in advanced Analytics software applications
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Analytical skills
