Job Summary: The Business Development & Partnerships Officer will be responsible for driving client acquisition, developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
The role requires a proactive professional capable of building relationships with SMEs, corporates, financial institutions, investors, government agencies, and development organizations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage client pipelines.
- Generate advisory, financing, and investment facilitation mandates.
- Conduct business presentations and client meetings.
- Prepare business proposals and service offerings.
Partnerships Development
- Build strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Establish partnerships with investors and development organizations.
- Support collaboration initiatives with government agencies and business associations.
- Represent MIC at industry events and networking engagements.
Client Acquisition
- Source and onboard new clients.
- Conduct client needs assessments.
- Coordinate proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
Market Expansion
- Identify emerging market opportunities.
- Support regional business development initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Professional qualifications are an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, relationship management, consulting, banking, or financial services.
