Kampala Parents School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and safety-focused Swimming Coach / Lifeguard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting water safety, developing students' swimming abilities, and creating a positive and supportive aquatic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct swimming lessons and coaching sessions for students of different skill levels.
• Teach proper swimming techniques, water confidence, and aquatic skills.
• Ensure the safety of students during swimming activities.
• Monitor pool areas and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Apply rescue techniques and provide first aid when necessary.
• Promote good swimming habits, discipline, and respect for water safety rules.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized swimming environment.
• Support school aquatic programs and activities.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Valid and up-to-date Lifeguard Certification.
• Swimming coaching qualification (Level 1 or higher preferred).
• Previous experience working with children and young people.
• Strong knowledge of water safety, rescue techniques, and first aid procedures.
• Passion for teaching and developing young swimmers.
• Reliable, energetic, responsible, and a strong team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
