Medical Teams International (MTI) is a faith-based, nonprofit health relief and development organization with a calling “Daring to love like Jesus, we boldly break barriers to health and restore wholeness in a hurting world.” MTI-Uganda operates in West Nile, Northern and Southwestern regions and the Transit Centres, delivering Comprehensive Primary Health Care, Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS and Nutrition services to forcibly displaced, stateless persons and host communities.
Medical Teams International upholds strict child and vulnerable adult safeguarding standards and maintains zero tolerance for Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, or Abuse.
As part of Epidemic preparedness and emergency response efforts, MTI-Uganda is seeking to recruit qualified, committed, and immediately available candidates to support critical frontline functions. Contract Duration: Short-term emergency deployment (initial duration to be confirmed based on response needs)
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Advanced Certificate in Medical Laboratory Techniques is required
Registration with Allied Health Professionals Council is required
Valid practicing license is required
Experience needed
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role is required
Experience working with an international NGO is an added advantage

Individuals who meet the stated requirements (qualifications, experience and skills) for the position. Ability to work in high-risk, emergency public health setting.
