Background

We are seeking a compassionate, qualified, and dedicated School Nurse to join our team at a secondary school in Kajjansi.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff.
• Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries.
• Monitor students with ongoing medical conditions and maintain health records.
• Administer medication as prescribed and authorized.
• Promote health education and hygiene practices within the school.
• Refer serious medical cases to appropriate health facilities.
• Ensure the school sick bay is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license.
• Previous experience in a school or clinical setting is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, responsible, and able to work independently.
