Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala for a Sales Executive and TikTok Content Sales Creator. The role involves actively engaging walk-in and online customers, explaining product features and benefits, managing inquiries, and converting leads into sales. The Sales Executive will use TikTok and other social media channels to create engaging, sales-focused video content that showcases products, promotions, and customer testimonials. Daily tasks include planning and filming TikTok content, responding to comments and direct messages, tracking content performance, and coordinating with the marketing team on campaigns. The role also includes maintaining accurate sales records, updating product information, gathering customer feedback, and contributing ideas to improve customer experience and sales performance.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills, including prospecting, product presentation, negotiation, and closing, ideally in retail or ecommerce.
- Hands-on experience creating short-form video content (especially TikTok), including scripting, filming, basic editing, and on-camera presentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, handle objections, and provide clear product explanations.
- Basic digital marketing awareness, including social media trends, audience engagement, and use of analytics to refine content and sales strategies.
- Customer service mindset with problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions both in-store and online.
- Comfort working with smartphones, social media apps, and basic office tools; familiarity with ecommerce platforms is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent experience is also valued.
