JOB DETAILS:
Our client is offering an exciting career opportunity for the position of CASHBOOK ACCOUNTANT.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' experience in cashbook management or bookkeeping, within a manufacturing or production setting.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cashbook Accountant shall be responsible for the accurate and timely management of the company's cashbook function.
The ideal candidate shall be responsible for processing all bank and loan transactions, performing bank and loan reconciliations, monitoring daily cash movements and loan headroom, resolving reconciling items, and ensuring accurate financial records to support efficient cash flow management and financial reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Cash Flow Management
Perform weekly reconciliations of the working capital.
Provide daily cashless support effective cash management to the company.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Ensure all transactions are investigated and cleared promptly.
Financial Record Management and Internal Controls
Maintain accurate and organised financial records and supporting documentation.
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately in the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
Debt Management
Monitor and manage term loan status.
5 Audit Compliance
Support internal audit programs by providing timely and accurate financial information.
Perform any other finance and accounting duties.
5 Key required competencies
Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience: 1+ years of dedicated experience in cashbook management or bookkeeping, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
Technical competence: Hands-on experience using finance systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
