IVAS is the social enterprise arm of Media Challenge Initiative (MCI). It offers events, equipment rentals, office space, campaigns, and Love Facts Cafe services to corporate, NGO, government, and private sector clients across Kampala.
The Role: Sales Agent

We are looking for three (3) highly motivated Sales Agents to drive new business growth. The successful candidates will proactively identify and close new clients across corporate, NGO, government, and private sectors for our events, equipment rentals, office space, campaigns, and cafe services.

Prospect and acquire new clients for IVAS services (events, equipment rentals, office space, campaigns, and Love Facts Cafe).
Assist in the formulation and implementation of a sales strategy.
Conduct market research and identify potential clients in Kampala and surrounding areas.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calls, networking, meetings, and digital outreach.
Present and pitch IVAS services professionally at trade fairs, expos, networking events, and industry gatherings.
Assist in the negotiation of contracts and close deals for events, rentals, and campaigns.
Manage client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and potential repeat business.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets with a strong focus on new client acquisition.
Provide weekly sales reports and pipeline updates to the Managing Director.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of proven B2B sales experience (preferably in events, marketing services, equipment rental, media, or similar sectors).
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of camera and production work is an added advantage.

Who We Are Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Film Production, Media Studies, Journalism, Visual Arts, or a related field
Basic knowledge of video shooting and editing is an advantage
Familiarity with at least one editing software is desirable
Experience filming or creating content for personal projects, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or a university media club is a strong plus
No prior professional work experience is required
Strong interest in visual storytelling and media production
Willingness to learn and take direction
Good eye for detail and creativity
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed for events
Team player with a positive attitude
Basic computer skills and ability to handle equipment with care
