About Organisation:
East Africa Radio Advertising Services Limited (EARS) is a specialized radio sales and marketing aggregator based in Kampala, Uganda. It functions as a centralized network that pools the advertising spaces of independent regional radio stations to offer national and international organizations unified, data-driven ad campaigns.
Job Summary: The primary purpose of this role is to help the company obtain better brand recognition and drive financial growth. The Sales Executive will coordinate with company executives, sales, and marketing professionals to review current market trends and propose new business ideas that improve revenue margins.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Building Relationships
- Lead the implementation of strategies to ensure EARS is top of mind for clients and customers.
- Actively look for opportunities to add value to our clients’ brands.
- Conduct regular formal and informal meetings to propose new ideas, and attend relevant conferences and industry events.
Finance & Planning
- Participate in business planning and target setting.
- Ensure all projects are costed profitably and oversee timely revenue collection.
Revenue Generation & Growth
- Acquire new clients and identify new opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives.
- Pursue leads and seamlessly move them through the sales cycle.
- Consistently analyze business performance against targets to bridge any variances.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma , alongside experience in sales within a commercial entity.
- Degrees in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience or knowledge in Broadcasting, Advertising, and PR-related operations is a strong advantage.
- Technical knowledge of EARS and Customer Value Propositions (training will be provided).
