Job Overview:

The Revenue & Business Development Manager is a dual-role executive responsible for maximizing organizational revenue streams and driving long-term business growth. This role focuses on optimizing pricing strategies, managing inventory/yield, and identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue  Management:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize room/sales revenue across all distribution channels.
  • Monitor competitor rates, market trends, and economic indicators to adjust revenue strategies dynamically.
  • Manage inventory allocation to ensure the right product is sold to the right customer at the right time.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue forecasts and budget reports.
  • Oversee the use of Revenue Management Systems (RMS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and products/services.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key corporate accounts and travel agents.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to set annual revenue targets.
  • Develop the annual marketing budget and business plan.
  • Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in revenue management and business development, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
