PROCUREMENT INTERN

IN KAMPALA, UGANDA

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage inventory processes including purchasing, receiving, storage, and issuance of company items and spare parts.
  2. Monitor spare parts stock levels, maintain organized stores, and ensure timely reordering to support operations.
  3. Support procurement activities by sourcing quotations, reviewing supplie offers, and negotiating competitive prices.
  4. Receive and inspect goods to ensure compliance with required quality, quantity, and purchase specifications.
  5. Coordinate with transport and operational teams to ensure timely issuance of items and tools for safari operations.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory records and reports using systems such as Google Sheets and QuickBooks while supporting process improvements and supplier management.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Certification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS is an added advantage.
  3. 0-6 months of experience in procurement and inventory management
  4. Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  5. Tech-savvy with good computer skills.
