JOB DETAILS:
Pure Breed Poultry Farm Limited is looking for a qualified and dedicated Farm Veterinary Doctor to support the health and productivity of our poultry operations.
Responsibilities or duties
- Monitor and maintain the health of poultry stock
- Diagnose and treat diseases in layer birds
- Develop and implement vaccination and treatment programs
- Advise management on animal health, nutrition, and biosecurity
- Conduct regular farm inspections and health assessments
- Maintain proper veterinary and treatment records
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine
- Must be licensed/registered with relevant professional body
Experience needed
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in poultry veterinary practice
- Experience working with layer birds is a must
- Strong knowledge of poultry diseases and preventive care
