About Organisation:
Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) is the legal entity, established by the Ugandan Parliament that is responsible for the operations of the capital city of Kampala in Uganda. It replaced the Kampala City Council.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting the implementation of Education programs, best practices and standards among Schools and Institutions as per the Ministry of Education and KCCA guidelines.
- Monitoring and compiling information on performance benchmarks and targets for all schools and institutions with in Kampala City as per the departmental guidelines.
- Identifying the needs of Schools and generating reports to management in the departmental guidelines.
- Providing technical support to Headteachers and management on education best practices and standards in Secondary schools teaching methods, syllabus and school curriculum, scheme of work and lesson plans.
- Developing and implementing a system for capturing schools management information standards implementation in the education sector in the divisions and recommend policy changes in line with KCCA objectives.
- Monitoring the implementation of the customized performance targets in all schools in the division in accordance with the performance management guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- An Honors Bachelor’s degree in Education or an Honors Bachelor degree plus Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a recognized University or Institution. Master
- Must be Registered as a Graduate Teacher with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
- Minimum of Two (02) years teaching experience in a government aided/owned school/Institution.

- Education Policy Management, Coaching and Mentoring, Planning, Organizing and Coordinating skills, Information Communication Technology (ICT) Skills.
