JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: In this role, the jobholder will lead the move staff in providing a delightful move
experience for our clients. You will be field-based, directing the team and ensuring
packing and relocation is conducted as per the SOP’s and client preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• • Receive the job order from the Branch Leader and special instructions from the Sales Rep on the day's move.
     Collect and confirm materials and tools allocated for the job and account for utilized and un-utilized materials at the end of the day.
     Communicate with the client before, during, and after the move to ensure expectations are met and delightful service delivery.
     Brief team on the day’s job and special instructions and the key deliverables for a successful move.
     Delegate and allocate workspace and roles for the team members.
     Check workflow is progressing as planned and institute changes as needed.
     Work with the team in packing, loading, and housekeeping tasks.
     Motivate the team to excellent and timely move execution.
     Implement 5K concept [K – Kuchagua (Sort), Kupanga (Set in Order), Kusafisha (Shine), Kudumisha (Standardise), Kuendeleza (Sustain)]
     Care for vehicle appearance and functionality.
     Adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and road traffic rules and policies.
     Observe company policies, SOP’s and statutory rules on personal and client conduct.
     Create and develop innovative ways of move execution and marketing the services.
     Report on move progress, challenges, and any training/support needs to the Branch Lead.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Disciplined and high work ethics.
   Good communication and interpersonal skills.
   Adaptable to change and a team player.
   Experienced employed/trainee mover for at least 12 months.
   College certificate.
   Nice to have: Technical skills i.e. carpentry, driving, electrician, DSTV installation etc.
