About Organisation:
Integrated Seed and Sector Development Uganda (ISSD Uganda) is an independent local NGO in Uganda, which aims to be a leading agricultural development organization in fostering resilient seed and food systems for sustainable agricultural production.
Job Summary: As a graduate trainee, you will work closely with our EYE-C She Works project team remotely to support the establishment and initial setup of She Works project. The graduate trainee will assist with mobilization, awareness creation, stakeholder engagement, profiling, data collection and ecosystem strengthening, while contributing to data-driven decision-making to support project scalability.
Successful applicants will undergo work-based training alongside senior professionals at various sites, including our Kampala head office and key project districts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
- Analytical: Ability to collect, analyse, and report data on project metrics.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic rural settings with flexible schedules.
- Gender Sensitivity: Commitment to advancing women’s economic empowerment and inclusion.
- Teamwork: Collaborative approach in multi-partner environments (ISSD, EYE-C & Cluster partners, cooperatives, NGOs, private sector).
