Role Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain spatial databases while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Conduct advanced geoprocessing and spatial modeling using QGIS to generate actionable insights.
• Develop, customize, and maintain QGIS plugins and extensions based on project requirements.
• Automate geospatial analysis workflows using Python and PyQGIS to improve efficiency and reproducibility.
• Create high-quality cartographic maps and visualizations for reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective geospatial solutions.
• Communicate technical findings and geospatial concepts clearly through written and verbal channels.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in QGIS, including spatial database management, geoprocessing, and map production.
• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using PyQGIS for workflow automation.
• Thorough understanding of spatial projections, coordinate systems, and data transformation techniques.
• Ability to customize QGIS through plugin development, scripting, or extension management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong experience producing professional cartographic outputs for diverse business or operational needs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
