Zabama Investment SMC is a growing start-up in the Tissue and Hygiene products manufacturing industry.
Job Summary: We are looking for a sharp, self-driven individual to join our team in Nabweru. This is a versatile, hands-on role at the heart of our business — you will be the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and partners, while also keeping our accounts, operations, and administration running smoothly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial reports
- Handle invoicing, petty cash, accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and support audit activities
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations (VAT, PAYE, etc.)
Sales & Customer Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and walk-ins
- Process customer orders and follow up on outstanding payments
- Coordinate with the sales team on reporting and order fulfilment
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
Administration & Operations
- Manage front-desk duties, scheduling, correspondence, and filing
- Support procurement and supplier coordination
- Provide general operational support across the business
- Assist management with reports, planning, and day-to-day operations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, administration, or a similar multi-functional role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally) and Microsoft Excel/Office
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A proactive self-starter comfortable working across multiple functions in a start-up environment
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Professional qualification: (CPA, ACCA) or equivalent is an added advantage
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or trading company will be an added.
