JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose

To provide effective teaching, clinical supervision, and mentorship to nursing students, ensuring they develop the required knowledge, skills, and professional values for quality nursing practice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and clinical teaching sessions for nursing students.
• Supervise students during clinical placements and practical sessions.
• Demonstrate nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
• Assess students’ clinical competencies and provide constructive feedback.
• Guide students in applying nursing theory to clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate student assessment and performance records.
• Promote professional ethics, patient safety, and quality nursing care.
• Participate in curriculum implementation and academic activities.
• Support continuous improvement of nursing training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the relevant nursing professional council.
• Valid practicing license.
• Previous teaching or clinical mentorship experience is an added advantage.
