JOB DETAILS:
Core Function:
- To facilitate smooth supply chain and customs clearance operations for incoming goods and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance documentation and compliance.
- Liaise closely with shipping lines, logistics providers, and freight forwarding/clearing agents.
- Coordinate with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Customs department, UNBS, and other regulatory government agencies.
- Track shipments from origin to destination, verify freight invoices, and ensure timely processing of permits and exemptions to avoid demurrage.
