About the job
Simple is a successful mobile product that has a user base of over 15 million people and has over 100% year-over-year revenue growth. It helps people improve their nutritional habits through personalized programs, meal tracking, and health insights, which allows them to lead healthier and happier lives. Now, we are taking the next big step and working on a new revolutionary AI product that helps each person improve their health in a fun and engaging way.
We’re looking for a Lead Product Content Manager who will own and evolve the content programming of Simple Move end-to-end, from defining what programs we ship and how they progress, to driving the product metrics that prove they work.
This is a hybrid role sitting at the intersection of product ownership and programming leadership, anchored in deep content expertise. You will own the topic roadmap, validate it against scientific peers, find the best solutions to exercise shoots, and personally drive the metrics that move retention. You will own full content logic and product metrics in one place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive key product metrics for trial conversion and retention: 1st renewal rate, 1st workout rating, welcome workout completion, workout-to-workout conversion, 6-week plan completion, trial-to-paid CR.
- Own the coach persona end-to-end. Define how the coach speaks, when she shows up (workout, chat, educational content, CRM, push), and what coach remembers about the user. This is the connective tissue across every Simple Move touchpoint.
- Run a fast experimentation loop. Generate, prioritize, ship, and read new content hypotheses across welcome workout, weekly drops, coach chat, educational content, and CRM. Most of your week goes here.
- Own user-coach chat as a first-class product surface. Define the conversation system (AI, human-in-the-loop, or hybrid), the tone of voice, and the experiments that move chat → next workout and chat → retention.
- Define the topic roadmap and 6-week block structure together with the SME Content Methodologist. You decide what we ship and in what order; the SME signs off on methodology.
- Design programs at the workout, week, and 6-week block level (welcome workout, weekly intent, regression and progression rules) in partnership with the SME and external master trainers per discipline.
- Evolve the in-product programming experience: how the user discovers a program, lands on a workout, gets feedback, and is nudged back tomorrow.
- Drive cross-feature conversion: workout → chat, workout → educational content, chat → next workout, and any new content type we ship.
- Scale topics together with the Content Producer, balancing production speed, cost-per-topic, and content quality across studio shoots and AI-generated content.
- Commit to a quarterly production cadence with the Content Producer (topics, formats, delivery dates) and adjust based on what experiments tell you.
- Analyze product data directly to find retention and engagement opportunities. Not via a PM proxy.
- Build deep intuition for women 40+ as the user and as the audience the coach is speaking to.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a product manager or product lead shipping consumer products end-to-end. Mobile experience in the fitness industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of moving core conversion and retention metrics, with experiments you designed and shipped yourself.
- Working understanding of fitness or wellness methodology: enough to brief an SME and external trainers, push back where needed, and read methodology critically. Formal background (kinesiology, exercise physiology, sports science) is a plus, not a requirement.
- Experience with AI-driven or persona-driven products: AI companions, coaching, character chat, fan engagement, or comparable systems where the product feels like a relationship, not a tool.
- Deep fluency in experimentation and hypothesis-driven development: A/B testing, sample sizes, reading messy product data.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to own product metrics directly, not via a PM proxy.
- Experience orchestrating cross-functional teams (product, design, content, production, tech, science).
- Programming or product experience with a 40+ female audience (perimenopause-aware) is a strong plus.
About You:
- You are a product owner first. You own the metrics, the experiments, and the experience, not just the brief.
- You think in systems: how a single workout connects to a 6-week arc, a chat reply connects to a renewal, and a tone of voice connects to retention.
- You have taste for content and the psychological read on what makes a user feel seen (the UXR instinct), even if you have not produced content with your own hands.
- You are comfortable in ambiguity and move fast with a growth-minded, experimentation-driven pace.
- You care about the user, the coach persona, and the relationship between them. The science behind the program matters; you partner with SMEs to validate it.
- You are obsessed with impact, not output.
Perks and Benefits:
- Competitive salary package commensurate with experience, plus stock options
- The equipment you need to do your job
- A premium Palta Family subscriptions (Simple, Flo, Zing etc.)
- 21 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
- Office in Limassol (Hybrid Work Format) or Remote Option for Candidates Residing Outside of Cyprus
