Job Summary: To ensure that all customer vehicles are effectively maintained and fixed right the first time for achievement of service throughput, revenue targets and most importantly customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Performs periodic maintenance on customer’s trucks and equipments and writes defects reports
    • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to trucks functionality and longevity
    • Performs repairs on customers vehicles as requested on the job card
    • Carry out pre-delivery inspection on all new vehicles ie trucks and equipments prior to delivery
    • Provide quality workmanship through fixing customer vehicles ie trucks and equipments right the first time in order to avoid repeat jobs.
    • Manage & improve performance through participation in available training & development programs.
    • Timely and accurate communication of vehicle defects through preparation & submitting of defect reports to supervisor.
    • Proper management of all technical tools & equipment allocated to you at all times to avoid accidents and wastage.
    • Adhere to workshop standards by carefully handling customer vehicles & tools to avoid damages and losses.
    • Maintain a clean and organized working bay through implementation and adherence of the company 5S standard
    • Adhere to all EHS standards and effective use of PPE provided.
    • Maintain tools & equipment assigned to him as per set standards and ensure periodic maintenance is done on the equipment
