Job Summary: We are looking for Tax Auditors to join the Tax Audit Support team in our Assurance Service Line. As a member of the Tax Audit Support team, you’ll make a technical contribution to audit engagements by focusing on auditing tax areas. You’ll actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for the Firm. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll escalate issues as appropriate. You’ll ensure that the work delivered to clients and audit teams is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the audit client’s business.
• Interact with clients to collect data/information required for preparation of tax audit working papers.
• Support the planning, execution and delivery of the tax aspects on audit engagements.
• Clearly and accurately document the execution of tax audit procedures in line with the EY Global Audit Methodology.
• Recognize and communicate potential tax issues.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• First Class or Second Class – Upper bachelor’s degree in: Accounting, Finance, any other Business-related field, Statistics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), Law or Computer Science.
• Full or part professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or any other recognised qualification) is an added advantage.
• Experience in external or internal audit is an added advantage.
• Willingness to foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.
• High level of integrity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proactive with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
