Job Summary:

Yongeza Capital is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, forecasting demand, managing inventory, optimizing vendor relationships, and driving process improvements across the supply chain function. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, cost reduction, and seamless coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Demand Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overstocking.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure optimal stock availability.
• Performance Tracking: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Evaluate and manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Process Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data evaluation and statistical software.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems or other database querying languages is highly desired.
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external vendors.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
