Job Summary
The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining stone crusher machines. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, identifying mechanical faults, welding and fabricating damaged parts, ensuring equipment operates safely, monitoring performance, maintaining accurate records, assisting operators, and adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair stone crusher machines (jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and conveyors).
- Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, replacement of wear parts, alignment, adjustment, etc.).
- Identify faults in engines, hydraulics, gearboxes, bearings, and other mechanical systems.
- Weld, fabricate, and replace damaged machine parts as required.
- Ensure crushers and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Assist operators in machine setup and daily checks.
- Comply with safety, environmental, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in heavy machinery maintenance in quarry/crusher operations.
- Strong knowledge of stone crushing equipment and related machinery.
- Skills in welding, hydraulics, and fabrication.
- Ability to read mechanical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in quarry environments.
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
