About Organisation:

Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.

Job Summary: To plan, review and coordinate the development and implementation of special economic free zones infrastructure

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Prepare and implement land zoning and utilization procedures for free zones
  • Develop and implement long- and short-term land-use plans in free zones
  • Monitor demarcation of areas for public facilities and infrastructure
  • Review and report on status of land in demarcated free zones
  • Initiate surveys and valuation of economic zone properties per guidelines
  • Supervise and appraise staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying & Geomatics / Geo-spatial Science / Information Systems, Land Economics, Urban/Physical Planning, Land Use Management or Land Valuation

Work Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in land management in Government or reputable organization
