About Organisation:
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is established as a Statutory Body under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act Cap. 210. The Bureau is a key player in Commercial, Civil and Intellectual Property Rights Registration that facilitate private sector development and vital statistics for national planning.
Job Summary: To support the implementation of talent management, organisational culture, employee engagement, performance management and learning and development initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementing the talent management policies, strategies and programmes aimed at attracting, developing and retaining competent human resource.
- Implementing workforce planning activities and identifying skills gaps within the Bureau.
- Coordinating the implementation of the performance management system maintaining performance management records.
- Coordinating learning and development programmes and maintaining staff training records.
- Coordinating employee engagement and organisational culture initiatives aimed at improving staff motivation, workplace relations and productivity.
- Supporting the implementation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the Bureau.
- Collecting and compiling data related to talent management programmes and activities to support monitoring and reporting.
- Supporting the development and review of talent management policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Providing technical support to staff on talent management processes and systems.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in either Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Arts (Arts), Commerce, Business Administration (Management Option) or any related field from a recognised University or institution.
Work Experience
- At least three (3) years’ relevant Working Experience in talent management, organisational culture, learning and development and performance management as Culture and Talent Management Officer or an equivalent level in a reputable public or private institution.
