School Counsellor

Job Purpose

The school counsellor will provide individual and group and classroom-based counselling services to students, as well as support teachers and parents with mental health and behavioral issues of the children.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field
• Masters Degree in Counselling or Psychology is an added advantage
• Certification as a School Counsellor or equivalent
• Minimum of 02 years of experience as a School Counsellor or a related field
• Experience in individual and group counselling with children and adolescents
• Experience working with children, preferably including children with special needs.
• Knowledge of mental health and behavioral issues affecting youth
