Role Overview
We are on the lookout for an experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the solar industry. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and managing client relationships to promote our innovative solar products and services. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative work environment, demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving results and a passion for continuous learning.

Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Kampala, On-site
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Business Development Manager
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and target new commercial and industrial clients for solar solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and provide technical consultations to customers.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close sales deals.
• Coordinate with technical and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track and manage sales leads using CRM software.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, solar technologies, and market developments.
• Provide customers with regular updates on project progress and after-sales service.

Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or other related fields.
• 7-12 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and market trends.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals.
• Active listening, persuasion, negotiation, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Responsibilities:
• Negotiate with retail merchants for improved product exposure.
• Answer customers' questions about products and services.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.

Preferred Skills:
• Speaking and coordination skills.
• Complex problem-solving abilities.

Additional Knowledge Areas:
Understanding of transportation logistics.
