About the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth targets in Ireland
  • Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, installers, EPCs, and strategic partners within the solar and energy storage industry
  • Expand SAJ’s market presence and strengthen brand awareness in the Uganda and the surrounding countries' renewable energy market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners
  • Drive sales activities for residential and commercial solar inverter and energy storage solutions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct commercial negotiations, manage contracts, and support partner onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with technical support, product management, marketing, and headquarters teams
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and regular market feedback
  • Organize and participate in exhibitions, customer meetings, roadshows, and industry events
  • Support channel partners with product training and business development initiatives
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partner success

Qualification

  • Background in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales or channel development experience in the solar PV, energy storage, or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Italian solar and energy storage market
  • Existing network with distributors, installers, EPCs, or industry stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in channel sales and achieving business growth target.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and relationship management skill.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill.
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel across East Africa countries.
