Job Summary
The Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the import and distribution sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B and B2C sales, with proven experience in building distribution networks, managing key accounts, and leading high performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in retail, wholesale, and institutional markets.
- Build and manage distribution channels to ensure effective product penetration.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet performance goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with clients.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and provide actionable insights to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in import and distribution, FMCG, or wholesale trade strongly preferred.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
