Job Summary

The Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the import and distribution sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B and B2C sales, with proven experience in building distribution networks, managing key accounts, and leading high performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in retail, wholesale, and institutional markets.
  • Build and manage distribution channels to ensure effective product penetration.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet performance goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms with clients.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and provide actionable insights to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in import and distribution, FMCG, or wholesale trade strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse sales teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
