Job Summary

The Regional Business & Operations Lead – Central Region will lead the performance, growth, and operational discipline of all Kray branches within the Central Region. This role drives loan disbursement, deposit mobilization, recovery performance, and compliance across the branch network — ensuring targets are met and Kray’s service excellence is consistently upheld.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and mentor all Branch Managers within the Central Region.
2. Translate company-wide targets into branch-level performance goals.
3. Monitor daily and monthly reports on disbursements, collections, and deposits.
4. Drive growth of loans, savings, and investment products.
5. Enforce compliance with credit, risk, and operational policies.
6. Conduct branch visits, portfolio reviews, and customer service audits.
7. Coordinate with Product Leads to execute product campaigns and ensure alignment.
8. Recommend staff training, rewards, or disciplinary actions based on performance.
9. Report directly to the CEO on regional performance and branch-level outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
   2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in multi-branch or regional management within the financial sector.
   3. Proven track record in business growth, credit supervision, and operations leadership.
   4. Strong knowledge of Uganda’s microfinance environment, regulations, and customer dynamics.
