JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, meeting production targets, delivery deadlines, and inventory requirements while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, orders, and capacity constraints.
- Coordinate with procurement, raw materials, and supply planning teams to ensure materials availability.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to manage delays or changes in demand.
- Optimize utilization of machines, labour, and other production resources.
- Track key production metrics (efficiency, downtime, yield, scrap) and provide reports.
- Collaborate with quality control to ensure production meets required standards.
- Support S&OP by providing production insights and feasibility assessments.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in production.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in production, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling, and planning tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across production, supply, and sales teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
