JOB DETAILS:
To learn and gain practical experience on the job by supporting the Procurement and Logistics team in the delivery of services efficiently and effectively.
Key Relationships
External – DKT customers; third-party logistics company (United Healthcare Distributors)
Internal – Across the organization, maintain effective communication with all departments, especially
with Finance, Marketing, Programs and Procurement
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement process by researching, sourcing, and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors.
- Support the Procurement officer in preparing and issuing purchase orders.
- Monitor and track order status and delivery timelines to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier agreements, and contracts.
- Ensure that supplier payments have the right documentation before submitting them to Finance for
settlement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet procurement needs and project requirements.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy of purchase order processing.
- Timeliness of order processing.
- Accuracy of inventory postings.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Member of relevant professional body.
- Recently completed a degree in education studies in the last 2 years.
- Exposure in a fast-paced commercial office environment is an added advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- SProactive.
- Highly effective customer service skills.
