Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and licensed Pharmaceutical Representative to join our team in Kampala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and distributing pharmaceutical products (with a focus on Indian-manufactured medicines) to healthcare professionals and institutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the local pharmaceutical landscape and existing relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with local pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and distributors.
• Achieve sales targets and increase market share within the assigned territory.
• Provide accurate information and product samples to healthcare providers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Licensing: Must hold an active and valid pharmacy practice license.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative or in a similar role.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical medicines, specifically those manufactured in or sourced from India.
• Network: Established connections with local pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and medical distributors in Kampala.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Other: Willingness to work in an on-site or hybrid capacity as required.
