Job Summary: SIBO is looking for a passionate and highly organized Operations & Logistics Lead to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations and ensure our delivery system runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Logistics & Delivery Management
- Oversee daily operations of deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment
- Manage and coordinate a team of delivery riders (boda boda partners), including scheduling, route planning, and performance monitoring
- Track delivery metrics and implement strategies to improve delivery speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction
Vendor & Order Coordination
- Serve as the key liaison between vendors and the SIBO operations team
- Ensure that vendor orders are accurately processed, picked, packed, and dispatched
- Handle escalations, failed deliveries, or product return issues with speed and professionalism
Data & Process Optimization
- Use data and reporting tools to monitor operations performance
- Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in delivery and fulfillment processes
- Recommend and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead and mentor junior operations staff and delivery riders
- Train new team members on internal tools, safety standards, and delivery protocols
- Foster a positive, performance-driven team culture
- Use logistics software, dashboards, and order tracking tools to manage operations
- Ensure all team members are trained and comfortable using tech tools and mobile apps
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on KPIs, rider performance, delivery success rates, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, customer support, vendor relations) to ensure smooth operational flow
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure delivery and logistics operations follow internal safety protocols
- Maintain records of incidents and proactively mitigate risks
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Background in logistics or customer support (an advantage)
- Data-driven decision-making ability with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfort working with software tools in a fast-paced environment
