Job Summary:   SIBO is looking for a passionate and highly organized Operations & Logistics Lead to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations and ensure our delivery system runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Logistics & Delivery Management

    • Oversee daily operations of deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment
    • Manage and coordinate a team of delivery riders (boda boda partners), including scheduling, route planning, and performance monitoring
    • Track delivery metrics and implement strategies to improve delivery speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction

Vendor & Order Coordination

  • Serve as the key liaison between vendors and the SIBO operations team
  • Ensure that vendor orders are accurately processed, picked, packed, and dispatched
  • Handle escalations, failed deliveries, or product return issues with speed and professionalism

Data & Process Optimization

  • Use data and reporting tools to monitor operations performance
  • Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in delivery and fulfillment processes
  • Recommend and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead and mentor junior operations staff and delivery riders
  • Train new team members on internal tools, safety standards, and delivery protocols
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven team culture
Systems & Tool Management
  • Use logistics software, dashboards, and order tracking tools to manage operations
  • Ensure all team members are trained and comfortable using tech tools and mobile apps

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on KPIs, rider performance, delivery success rates, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, customer support, vendor relations) to ensure smooth operational flow

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure delivery and logistics operations follow internal safety protocols
  • Maintain records of incidents and proactively mitigate risks

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Background in logistics or customer support (an advantage)
  • Data-driven decision-making ability with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfort working with software tools in a fast-paced environment
