Job Purpose

The Nail Technician is responsible for providing professional nail care services while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role involves performing manicure and pedicure treatments, nail enhancements, and nail art, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and promoting salon products and services to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional manicure and pedicure services.
• Apply nail polish, gel polish, acrylic, builder gel, and other nail enhancement systems as required.
• Create nail art and customized nail designs based on client preferences.
• Assess clients' nail conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sterilization of tools and equipment.
• Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Recommend and promote salon products and additional beauty services where appropriate.
• Manage appointments efficiently and ensure timely service delivery.
• Handle client enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Adhere to all salon policies, health and safety regulations, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Nail Technology, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Certification in gel, acrylic, or advanced nail techniques will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Relevant experience as a Nail Technician in a reputable salon, spa, or beauty establishment.
• Demonstrated experience in manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylic extensions, builder gel, and nail art.
• Experience in customer service and retail product sales is an added advantage.
