Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) is hiring a Monitoring Evaluation & Research Officer to design and implement an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system for UTB while running the support function of research, collecting

SALARY SCALE: T5

DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance

DUTY STATION: UTB Headquarters

REPORTS TO: Senior Product development & Research Officer

SUPERVISES: None

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum qualifications is a Bachelor’s Degree in statistics or Economics or Developmental Economics.
• Desired additional qualifications are post graduate diploma and/or Master’s degree in M&E. Economics or Statistics.
• Knowledge of M&E frameworks and ability to design data collection tools
• Report writing and data visualisation skills
• Three years experience in Research Projects. Monitoring & Evaluation and Data collection & analysis in a reputable organization

• Data analysis skills using software like Ms Excel, SPSS, STATA, R,KoboToobox etc
• Strong analytical and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
