Job Summary:   Infinity Computers and Communications Company Limited (I3C) is seeking skilled and  experienced  teams  of  masons and porters to work on building construction projects. A team ideally consists of a lead mason (foreman), 3 assistant masons and 4 porters.

The foreman is the team leader who oversees his team in the day-to-day work, and is answerable to the project management team of civil engineers, electrical and telecommunication engineers and several other project teams who, and the expectation is for the building structures be built in accordance with the design in compliance of regulatory laws and work site safety requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews and subcontractors in teams.
  • Interpret and implement construction drawings and blueprints using the necessary tools.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure work aligns with timelines and budgets.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Train and mentor junior site workers including your team of assistant masons and porters.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and site reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman or Construction Supervisor, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of building materials, masonry techniques, tools, and construction methods.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team of 4 porters and masons to ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks.
• Literacy & Documentation: Must be literate and capable of reading, interpreting, and working from construction plans and technical drawings.
• Mobile Device Requirement: Must own and present a fully functional smartphone during the interview, with sufficient storage capacity to support installation of project management, safety, and data reporting applications.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail in day-to-day site operations.
• Safety Compliance: Candidates must be willing to participate in mandatory EHS certification and ongoing compliance training.
